The Sickle Bag draws inspiration from the traditional sickle. A humble agricultural tool that once rested in the hands of farmers across the Indian landscape. Reimagined as a handle on both sides, the form is elevated with intricate hand-engraved floral motifs, made in collaboration with brass artisans from West Bengal. Each metal component is hand-engraved over several hours by master artisans. A slow, deliberate process that ensures no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Hardware handcrafted by Kansaris, traditional brass artisans from West Bengal. A 5,000-year-old legacy of metalwork. The craft-form involves traditional techniques like sand-casting, traditional mould making, hand engraving and polishing.
The leather is fully handcrafted in India, cut and constructed by our artisans.
